Front Range Baseball COVID Policies

As the country and state of Colorado continue to implement and manage various protocols for the prevention and management of COVID-19, Front Range Baseball will be implementing the below requirements effective immediately.

  1. Players and coaches only in athletic space.  To minimize the number of people in the facilities during a team practice, only players and coaches will be permitted in the athletic space. Parents and guardians are permitted to escort their player into the facility and ensure they are safely transitioned to a practice or program but they are not allowed to enter the athletic space.
  2. The lobby at Front Range Baseball is nicely appointed and has a two large viewing windows overlooking the athletic space.  The quantity of seating is limited and public health orders do influence the number of people that can occupy the space.  We are requesting that parents cooperate with each other and rotate between their car and the lobby in order to provide everyone an opportunity to ensure their young athlete is having a good time and is in safe hands.  If the event being held is a team practice, Front Range Baseball suggests that the parent group select a few parents to monitor the practice while the remainder wait in their vehicles or return at the conclusion of the practice.
  3. When weather permits, Front Range Baseball will open the garage bay doors.  Parents are free to view the athletic activities from outside of the door when this is feasible.
  4. Masks are required: As long as the State of Colorado maintains a mask mandate in public places, all team coaches and players will be required to wear masks in the facilities. We highly recommend a mask that the player can have around their neck at all times.  When a player or coach is socially distant from others in the cages such as when hitting, wearing a helmet, pitching a bullpen session, or any other drill that the coaches are able to implement sufficient distance between players, relief from the mask is permitted. At all other times, and in all other spaces, a mask must be worn.
  5. Prior to arrival, parents and guardians should ensure they and their player is in good health.  If the player or the accompanying parent/guardian answers yes to any of the following question, the player and the parent should not attend the program/event or enter the premises.
  • Do you or your player have Fever or chills?
  • Do you or player have a cough?
  • Do you or your player have shortness of breath or difficulty breathing?
  • Are you or your player unusually fatigued?
  • Do you or your player have unexplained muscle or body aches?
  • Do you or your player have a headache?
  • Are you or your player experiencing a loss of taste or smell?
  • Do you or your player have a sore throat?
  • Do you or your player have congestion or runny nose?
  • Have you or your player experienced nausea or vomiting recently?
  • Have you or your player experienced diarrhea recently?

  6.  Maintain social distances: A minimum of 6 feet between individuals is recommended by health professionals.
  7. School quarantine protocols will be followed: If a player or coach is required to quarantine as a result of school requests, those individuals
should not attend team functions. However, if a player or coach conducts and reports a negative COVID-19 test, they will be permitted to
      return to team functions.
  8. Attendance lists: Coaches will maintain lists of coaches and players attending team functions.  Front Range Baseball will maintain a contact
list for all players registered for programs and validate attendance.
  9. Wash hands regularly: Utilize soap and hand sanitizer in the facilities to maintain proper hygiene.

Thank you for your cooperation following these protocols and assisting us so that we can provide a safe environment for your player, your family, and all of the players and families we serve.  Our goal is to operate as safely as possible and we recognize that it takes an extraordinary effort from all of us to accomplish.

Please feel free to contact Scott Allen directly if you have any questions or concerns regarding these measures.
