Arapahoe Youth League – Raptors Spring Tune-Up

Front Range Baseball is pleased to present our Final Camp Series leading up to your 2021 Season. The Raptors Spring Tune Up will be hosted outdoors at Metzler Park in Castle Rock. We will be forming players into small group pods and rotating them through a circuit training on a wide range of skills. Small Group Pods will consist of 4-6 players. Small Group Pods will be age appropriate and every attempt will be made to ensure teammates are able to work together.
We are including a free component of this program for the Raptors Coaching staffs. We have worked with players at every age group this winter and we are pretty confident that each coach is likely to have several players on their teams that have attended the winter camp series. The Coach Pass for the Spring Tune-Up is offered at no cost and is designed to provide your youth coaches an opportunity to observe our approach to skill development, see how we set up drill sequences, and ask any question they might have. It also includes an evening event hosted at our facility so that we can share our programmatic approach for teaching throwing and pitching mechanics. See the program description listed below.
The list below outlines the types of skills you can expect your player to experience:
- Arm Care Routine
- Throwing/Pitching
- Hitting (Tee Stations)
- Bunting
- Infield Drills
- Outfield Drills
- Base Running
- Catching Work (For Catcher's Only)
- Live hitting with Situational Awareness
The camp series is 4 days. Each day can be registered for individually so you are afforded the flexibility to attend as your schedule permits. The format for each day will be similar but we will vary the skills sessions to provide variety.
Sessions will be held on the following days:
Saturday March 13thSunday March 14thSaturday March 27thSunday March 28th
The sessions are split into age specific groups consisting of:
- Age Group 5-8U 10am to 12pm
- Age Groups 9-14U 1pm to 4pm
We strongly encourage teams to attend with as many players as possible and will do our best to place team members in the same pods. The registration process will ask you to provide your team name so that we have the information we need to group players together.
We look forward to working with your players and getting them all off to a strong start to the 2021 Season!
