This school features Mike Lane - Head Baseball Coach at the University of North Alabama. Coach Lane has had more than seventeen articles published in major coaching publications (Scholastic Coach, Athletic Journal, Coach and Athlete, and Collegiate Baseball to name a few). These articles involve presentations on pitching, hitting, outfield and infield play, catching and coaching philosophy.

As the Head Baseball Coach at the University of North Alabama, Coach Lane has transformed UNA's baseball program into a perennial national contender. He has helped many of his players launch careers in professional baseball. UNA has had four players reach the major league level since Coach Lane's arrival. Ced Landrum, Cubs and Mets, Jim Czajkowski, Colorado Rockies, Terry Jones, Colorado Rockies and Montreal Expos, and Josh Willingham, currently with the Florida Marlins.
